Highlights from 6-21-08

Another great night of racing at Riverview Speedway.  A rain storm caused a small delay in start time but the skies were clear after that.  Father and Son, Joe and Lee Howard once again put on a great show for the fans with their 1st and 2nd place finish in the Super Shiner division.  Young Jesse Warner kept the field of Chevettes in his rear view mirror to take home his third win of the year.  Way to go kid!!!!!!

Jeff Higdon in the 04 L.L.M division took home another win.  The biggest talk of the night was the Sportsman race with everyone on the hunt for the bounty on  #74 Billy Williams. #21 Jimmy Victory had the lead for several laps before Billy fought through the pack to take the lead and the win.  The bounty grows $50.00 every week that Billy wins.  The pressure is getting tough with cars from other tracks coming to get their shot at the bounty.  Come check it out next Saturday night and see if anyone has the car to out power the #74.
